Scrub abrasion and washability testing of surfaces and coatings
Plastic films, panels, textiles, paints, varnish, coatings etc. can be tested for scratch, wear and color changes in dry or wet conditions using an automated washability setup.
The standards listed below can be used, or we can adjust the test to meet your specific conditions. As an example, there could be the addition of broken glass fragments to simulate wear of a floor in a production line, or to assess the possible impact of detergents.
The setup is also useful to determinate the optimal anti-graffiti performance of coating/detergent/scrub combinations.
We can setup the testing to run by the following standards:
- ASTM D2486
- ASTM D3450
- ASTM D4213
- ASTM D4828
- ASTM F1319
- ISO 11998
