Meet Jasmin Madsen Hyldborg
Making Things Happen: From Green Transitions to Project Excellence Jasmin carry a deep passion for sustainability and she is a versatile Project Manager known for her ability to "make things happen." Whether navigating the complexities of industrial machinery or driving a green transition, Jasmin is the engine that keeps large and complex projects on track. As Design and Innovation engineer with an environmental sustainability focus, Jasmin specializes in Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and translating technical environmental metrics into actionable insights for R&D teams. Jasmin’s proactive nature was famously on display recently during a challenging period for a client. Recognizing that organizational chaos was spilling into a shared project, she stepped in and provided direct management support for the client's overworked team. By setting up weekly alignment meetings and helping the client juggle competing obligations, she stabilized the project and turned a potential bottleneck into a success. Beyond the office, Jasmin approaches life with the same intensity. She describes herself as having "two jobs": IPU and running. A dedicated member of the TTTT running club, she trains like a maniac, often tackling two tempo runs in a single day - starting as early as 6:00 AM. From 5km sprints to marathons, running is a core part of her identity and social circle. When she finally slows down, she is a self-proclaimed "crazy cat lady," devoted to her two cats. Jasmin brings a refreshing honesty to her work, believing there is no shame in admitting when one doesn't know something. By asking the hard questions and seeking input from specialists, she ensures that IPU projects are built on clarity rather than assumptions. For Jasmin, the strength of a project lies in the team, and her role is to ensure that teams has the push it needs to cross the finish line.

Meet Klaus Schütt Hansen
Designing complex technical solutions that works: From Mechanical engineering to High Performance Laser Processes With an excellences in system thinking Klaus solves technical challenges, and he also builds frameworks that allow ideas to move seamlessly from concept to reality. With close to 20 years at IPU, and a IPU Board member, Klaus has dedicated his career to pushing the boundaries of laser material processing, focusing on the intersection of mechanical design, advanced laser technology, and hands-on problem-solving. Klaus has a background as a mechanical engineer from the Technical University of Denmark and holds an industrial Ph.D. from Aalborg University, where he specialized in multi-beam fiber laser welding, giving him a deep foundation in both theory and applied research. This academic foundation, combined with years of hands-on research at IPU, has made him an expert in data analysis, technology mapping, and complex problem-solving. In his daily work at IPU, Klaus leads technical development projects that transition from theoretical technology searches to practical lab work and assembly. Outside the lab, Klaus brings his analytical mindset to his professional interests in technology search and mechanical design, and his ability to execute and analyze high-level experiments makes him a vital asset for clients looking to bridge the gap between research and industrial application. Whether Klaus is optimizing laser processes or managing intricate project timelines, his focus remains on technical excellence and methodical execution. Away from work, family is central to Klaus’ life, and he enjoys skiing trips and quality time at home. As a true “do-it-yourself” person, he also enjoys tackling hands-on projects in his free time. Sports are also important: he plays underwater rugby weekly and is always on the look out for new colleagues to bring along, extending his teamwork and dedication beyond the workplace. Klaus’ blend of technical mastery, practical problem-solving, and personal warmth makes him a trusted collaborator and someone who brings energy both inside and outside of IPU.

Meet Kristoffer Hansen
Bridging the Gap Between Medical Innovation and Market Success Kristoffer does not just build technology; he builds the frameworks that allow technology to thrive in the real world. As a specialist at IPU, Kristoffer focuses on the delicate triangle where user needs, technical feasibility, and business viability intersect. With a foundation in Chemical Engineering and a Ph. D focused on polymers, Kristoffer’s career has been defined by moving boundaries, specifically in the field of ostomy care. He has spent years developing pressure-sensitive adhesives for skin use and pioneering new technology platforms that solve critical user needs while fitting seamlessly into global healthcare systems. At IPU, Kristoffer plays a pivotal role in the early stages of project development: scoping, initializing, and setting up high-performing teams within the medical device domain. For Kristoffer, the thrill of R&D consultancy lies in the scoping phase. He thrives on identifying how to solve new challenges and assembling the right mix of talent to ensure a project’s success. He is motivated by the moment where complex technology meets a genuine human need and a solid business case. As he puts it: "I believe that combining deep knowledge with the time to create clarity holds great potential." When he is not scoping the next medical breakthrough, Kristoffer is likely seeking out high-velocity adventures or quiet family time. He is a passionate cyclist, particularly fond of his gravel bike. However, his true passion is off-piste skiing in deep powder (he is even looking for recruits for a trip to Japan). At home, Kristoffer credits his family as his primary source of both healing and challenge. His work is guided by a belief in the power of strong teams and a commitment to radical honesty, believing that being real and vulnerable creates the trust necessary for true innovation.
