Simple one-stage CO2

Simple one-stage CO2 is primarily intended for teaching purposes. The application lets the user play with transcritical CO2 cycles: standard, gas-bypass and ejector cycle.

About the project

About the project

The first version of the application was developed in 2009 as part of the project “Development and use of simulationtools to analyze and optimize refrigeration system with CO2 as refrigerant” (“Udvikling og brug af simuleringsværktøjer til analyse og energioptimering af kølesystemer med CO2 som kølemiddel”). The project is financed by Dansk Energi as part of the ELFORSK program.
